Monday, I ate:
SNACK: Gouda cheese and grapes
LUNCH: cheese and black bean quesadilla
SNACK: Luna protein bar (some of them are safe, and some have sugar)
DINNER: chicken fajitas with bell peppers, onions, cheese and tomatoes
Yesterday, I realized just how much I like to snack during the day on ‘junk’.
I also had quite the eye opening experience when I went grocery shopping last night. I read the label on every single item that I picked up, and was amazed at some of the things I have always considered “healthy” that we can’t eat now! I can say that if we continue on this new eating lifestyle, it will save me time in the grocery store! There are only about 4 aisles I would need to go down!
Tuesday, I ate:
BREAKFAST: Bolthouse Farms Berry Juice
SNACK: fresh fruit – raspberries, kiwi and strawberries
LUNCH: egg salad sandwich
DINNER: leftover fajitas from last night
SNACK: mixed nuts (peanuts, almonds and raisins)
Today, I wanted something sweet. Badly.
I tried making the zucchini bread recipe on the 100days website tonight. I’m not sure if I did it wrong, but it is not delicious. Sad.
